(made one serving)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 C honey oats or plain
TB almond slices or chopped pecans
1 TB butter
*for added sweetness add raisins or craisins
In a 350 degree oven toast your outs and nuts in for 5-8 minutes
Dice your apples
Mix in the toasted oat mixture and cinnamon (you can add raw sugar if you like for more crunch)
Break up the butter on the top
Put in the oven for 45-55 minutes or until apples are tender.
The first time I made them I used Gala apples, next time I think I will try granny smiths so I get the same tartness present in apple pie.
