Alright Lifers, inside is a lean leg workout from POP SUGAR that at first glance doesn't seem like it would get the job done; but these 10 minutes will challenge you. This is being added to my Gut Buster workout and of course at least a 30min walk each day.
As you can see in the picture above, there have been some major changes happening to my body and I never notice them until I compare pictures. Even when clothes feel looser or people compliment me, I still feel as though I'm Fluffy McFluff-a-kins. Sometimes it's hard to shake the image of yourself you've known for so long. But, be encouraged! If you're doing the work, the weight is coming off, and you will eventually see the difference yourself. Don't give up!!! It is a process but you can do it. You can be a healthier more fit you.
So, I am always patrolling the internet for new workouts. Today I thought I would look for one that used a resistance band because I personally only do 4 different moves with it. Boring! I came across this workout on Pinterest with photo demonstrations by Jennifer Johnson from cosmobody.com There are exercises for upper and lower body so you can split the workout.
So I know with summer around the corner, everyone is obsessing with getting into bikini shape. Who doesn't want a washboard stomach or a few packs, LOL. But, for those of us who have a season before seeing those type of results, focus on the health benefits. It's important to keep weight off of your midsection and chest area to take preventive measures against heart disease, cancers and diabetes; and to keep your back and core strong to prevent injuries as you get older. I put together a workout to help you be healthy and sexy!
When you have to cook on a regular basis, some meals become regretfully redundant, especially veggies. I can't tell you how many meals a week include broccoli or green beans. Below are a few recipes to hopefully add a little interest to your plates.
After a huge breakfast and dinner with all the yummy trimmings for Resurrection Sunday celebration, it's definitely time to get moving again. Here's a new workout I'm doing to keep things interesting.
Here we go gang, it's time to change up some of our workouts starting with this quick back and ab workout I put together. With this workout I included another high energy song to keep you going. Click below to get started!!!
About 2 months has passed since I decided to record my lifestyle change. There have been some short comings, but a lot of gains since I first started. I have had some recent trouble purging the sugar monster, but I have been doing pretty well with making healthier choices and staying active. Over the past two months I have lost 18 pounds and my clothes are definitely fitting much more loose. It doesn't seem like a lot, but slow progress is still progress (and it tends to keep the weight off).
My carbonara didn't turn out nearly as pretty as the picture above, but I'm sure it turned out just as good as it looks. For the original Recipe visit closet cooking.com for my alterations stay tuned.
I didn't have to make many changes to this recipe as it's already pretty healthy, but I made mine gluten free by using a gluten free pasta, and I made a few other tweaks because my personal shopper forgot some things at the market LOL. I also omitted the egg in this recipe and used dried parsley instead of fresh and bacon instead of pancetta.
When saying no to sugar and flour, there are many things you can't eat, including regular spaghetti. Let’s face it, you always crave what you can’t have at some point or another, so you have to look for alternatives to fill those voids so not to give up on the goals you have set for yourself.
Pesto spegehtti and meatballs is a perfect substitute for the traditional. You have a sauce, meat and pasta. This is something very simple I came up with, and I hope you all like it.
