Take a look at the passage below.
Back as promised! Wow, 2020 and we’re already days into month two. You’ve probably heard that the year 2020 is for divine vision and/or the year for dreamers. So rather than reaching back I want to share with you a current and ongoing testimony attached to vision. God has done so much in my life up until this very moment and my hope is that my testimony will encourage you to push on and to not give up on your God-sized dreams and visions.
Take a look at the passage below.
Wow, it's been a while but I'm back! I took a break because I went through some valleys and I had to refocus and figure out what it was I needed to do get my life back on track.
This past Saturday I went on a hunt for some black flats for work because my foot pulled a baby hulk on me and busted the seam out of my old ones. ( It was soooo ridiculous!)
Everything that has been going on in the world are both heartbreaking and emotionally exhausting. It's time for people to wake up and realize that although situations are manifesting physically, there is a spiritual war going on. Pray people of God, PRAY! Pray that hearts will be changed, pray for your country and others, pray that people won't be driven by hate or fear, pray that people will choose to be used by God and not by satan.
The enemy is rising up...how will we respond
Since I got back from Europe I’ve been struggling to find my footing once again (concerning my classical career). It seemed like every awesome opportunity I found, the door would shut even before they started taking auditions, LOL. So, instead of being bull headed like so many times before, I asked God why again am I standing here?
Recently I was asked to speak on this very topic to a group of women. I really didn't know where to begin but with prayer so, I went to God and told Him "hey, how can I speak on success if I don't yet feel successful?" It was revealed to me that it's not always about where you are in the moment but what it's going to take to get there. To be successful you need determination and you need commitment, but most of all you need trust in God because He will fight for you every step of the way and guide your every step when you are carrying out His will. To get to where God wants to take you is going to require some things!
The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. (Proverbs 15:4)
Choose to be someone who refreshes souls, rather than someone who breaks the spirits of others.
Sometimes on our Christian journey the things we have overcome we feel can no longer tempt us. But given the right conditions we still may fall. It is humbling to know that you’re not exempt from temptations and tests even though you may have passed the initial test once. The Holy Spirit will speak up against it and give warning, but sometimes we still allow the flesh to win. This does not mean that God’s grace is not sufficient, it’s just a reminder that we still need Him. As your walk with Christ becomes closer the more the enemy will try to make you stumble to cause shame or a feeling of defeat, anything to get you on a spiraling downward fall. But if we can remember that though we are a new creature in Christ once saved, it is sill our choice to make the decisions in life that will bring God glory and honor on a daily basis. We experience a heart change. Not a magical wand waving away all desires and temptation in the world. That is why is important to pray for a sound mind and to remember that you are not exempt!
Now that I’ve lived almost half a century, I’ve come to the conclusion that one of the accepted norms of society is to place people into categories based on observed characteristics such as physical or intellectual attributes. Some might see it as prejudice or pre-judging others, but I see it as an attempt to define others. For example, tall, heavy set black males are defined as dangerous or someone to fear; if you’re from a single parent home, then you’re destined for the lower class; if you’re African American then you’re defined as one who will automatically vote one political party over another; and, if you have strong convictions about how to live life, are willing to speak out against moral injustices based on your religious convictions, then you’re defined as being intolerant.
