Global giving is an awesome site because it has multiple causes you can give to in one place. The idea is that non-profits submit their organization to the site for donors to help give from all over the world to reach a certain goal. To start getting involved you go to the site, select find project>select a country>then select a theme. You can also search by organization.
Not only can you give a monitory blessing but there are volunteer opportunities listed, you can apply to be a field intern and travel the world helping with various projects, or just simply press share to get the word out about something you're passionate about.

As you may be noticing, most of my inspirations for my post come from shows about food, more specifically food network LOL. What can I say, food comforts me in more was than one. This post is no different. I was watching Ace of Cakes and Duff was pairing up with Best Buddies on a cake delivery and assembly. When is the last time you had a really bad cold or been down with the flu? Do you remember how it felt? Do you remember not wanting to do anything but rest? Well, imagine what cancer patients must feel like. Not only needing to rest and stay focus on their health, but keeping a clean home to stay healthy.
Some time ago, I was inspired by a woman that donated chemo care packages to people. She wasn't asked and she wasn't looking for recognition. She simply saw a way she could bless someone else and acted on it. It seems that cancer is one of the most prominent diseases people are fighting today and it takes its toll. It takes it toll emotionally, physically and spiritually and some people lose hope in all three departments. Sometimes just a simple gesture to show that a person is being thought of is all they need to get back up and keep fighting, keep praying... keep living!
I've seen people I love have to go through it and I always wondered if there was more I could do.
I'm always on the look out for different ways to help others, and this week I realized I hadn't prepared a post about serving others. Someone had my back though, because a couple of days ago a family friend sent me a link to a page that is set up to help others in almost every area of their lives.
