This is an awesome recipe if your turkey turned out a tad too dry or is crumbling like saw dust. Because of the gravy/sauce inside, it revives the meat to yet live again lol
I made this this past Sunday with a side of creamy mashed potatoes. There was wasn't a crumb left!
1 can cream of chicken
2 cups frozen mixed veggies
1 1/2 cup of chopped turkey
2 stalks celery
1/4 large onion
8"-9" cake round or pie dish
Preheat oven to about 365F
I bought the pre made roll out pie crust. I chopped 2 stalks of celery and a quarter of an onion, as well as 2 full sized carrots (all leftovers from holiday meal prep)
put about a TBSP of butter in a skillet and sweat the veggies down. Then add cream of chicken, your frozen veggies, chicken stalk, and chopped turkey. Season with a little of garlic powder and salt pepper to taste.
thaw pie crust as instructed. Take one pie crust and place it in the bottom of your dish. Pour your mixture in the pan and cover with the remaining crust. Don't forget to create some vents for the steam.
Cook until the crust is a flakey golden brown (about 25-30min)
I love pesto pasta! It's quick, easy and reminiscent of a pesto panini , Yum!
1 box Gluten free pasta (i use penne)
1 jar pesto (about 1/4 cup)
1/4 Cup of fresh grated park
2 roma tomatoes (chopped)
1 1/2 Cup of chopped turkey
2 TBSP olive oil
*shredded mozzarella (for topping)
This guy is a one pot shot! Boil your pasta in salty water. After you drain the pasta mix in all the goodies (on low heat) until well incorporated. Serve and top with a little mozzarella.
