Okay everyone, my ideal job is one that I can do at home so that I can have flexible hours to maintain my singing career. After many searchers and many failed applications I finally found one that ANYONE can do and the pay is great! This isn't a get rich quick scheme; you definitely have to put in the work, but you can virtually do it from anywhere!
I love these EOS eggs. They're literally the only lip balm that keeps my lips from peeling at the moment. Although people say that the cost is pretty reasonable I remember the days my lip balm was 99 cents or 1.29 at the most and you could use virtually all of the product. Well for the eggs a lot of the product goes to waste, but I found a super easy way to get your money's worth by just saving your used up eggs.
Like most families, after the Thanksgiving feast you have gobs and gobs of leftovers. Usually the one thing you have the most of is the turkey. Well, here a few tasty recipes for the left over bird.
My mom celebrated another year of life this past Wednesday (Praise God). I wanted to do something special for her but we all know the older our parents get the harder it is to buy things for them. One thing she had been talking about doing was a girl's game night; so I thought, "why not surprise her with one." If you knew my mom you would already know the surprise part of the plan did not work. My word she makes it difficult. Here are a few ideas that I used to make my mom's Lady's Night Out special.
This past weekend, my dad catered an employee appreciation luncheon for the company he works for. He wanted to hand out some samples of his BBQ sauce (which is more like crack) with his business cards to drum up a little more business. Knowing how busy my dad is, I took it upon myself to execute the task at hand; but then I remembered I would need to make labels for the bottles and I don't know how to do that on my new computer. It's sad when your parent's are more technologically savvy than you are, but hey I own it LOL.
This past weekend for my birthday, one of the things I did to celebrate was a "Girls Night Out" cooking class. The reasons I chose GNO is because the menu was a whole heep of appetizers. The one thing I'm always slow to come up with when hosting are appetizers. I'm a country girl so I'm use to cooking big meals. It was so much fun learning new recipes and some tricks in the kitchen with a glass a wine and good company. Plus, we got to eat everything we cooked; needless to say a great time indeed. So, as my gift to all of you, I wanted to share one of the recipes from the class that I learned.
While living in Southern France things were much more relaxed than expected. I had prepared myself mentally for city life in Paris. When I finally arrived in Paris for my visit I was well prepped but, there were a few adjustments I had to make in order not to stand out to pick pockets and to get around safely. So if you're planning a trip to city of romance, here are a few tips that I hope will help you during your stay.
This summer the light weight and flowing kimono all the rage and I have come up with a super easy way to do your own at home whether you sew or not!

Recently, one of my close friends had the idea of writing letters to help us stay in touch when our lives become a tad too busy to call. I actually had a few pen pals growing up and use to love getting the letters. There is something extra special about someone slowing down and taking the time to write a friend. Well, her idea could not have come at a better time because I'll be traveling soon and it will be cool to send letters from different parts of the world.
